To many Nigerians hope is not an option; they see a very blur future of this nation. This is simply because we are witnessing the worst epidemic of lawlessness the human race has ever experienced, as our cities have been taken over by incidences of strikes, rape, murder, riots, looting, arson, political crisis, examination mal-practices etc. internet crimes are also on the increase.

Considering all these factors, hope is definitely far fetched. It would be difficult to picture a changed nation and environment.

Contrarily, these factors not withstanding, there is a strong feeling of a second revolution that will guarantee a long lasting change in Nigeria as a whole. It is possible to live a life void of corruption in Nigeria. This can only be achieved by a renewed and changed of minds, which are willing to fight for peace, honesty and better life with their last breath. As youth in this nation we need to change our mind set about the future of this nation. There is a saying that "A persons life is sharpened by what he listen to over a period of time, whatever enters your ears, enters your mind, and whatever enters your mind enters your life."

This is the case with our fathers. Their lives have being sharpened by what they have been told in time past. As a result of this we are still lucked in a cycle of failure and under development, we are still impoverished after decades of attaining independent from our colonial masters. They are nailing us with a slavery mentality after years of being free from slavery.

As youths, who desire a change in the nation we need to be on the offensive to break the status. We must be free from a wrong mind set that makes change impossible.

I see a clean environment if only we will stop throwing ducts out of public transportation and private cars. I see a great nation, if only we will revisit our moral values and live by godly principles. I see an improved economical country if only mediocrity will loose its seed on us and give our selves to hard work and sharpen our skills. Every body is born with talent, develop it, do what you enjoy doing best with a sense of professionalism and exchange goods and services for money.

I see a standardized and authentic educational background if only we will say no to examination mal-practices and our political sector can experience a positive shift if we will say no to political rigging avoid leadership by coercion and negotiation and accept leadership based on Godly principles.

If our youth can say no to poverty and slavery mentality, i think there will be a dramatic turn around in this country.

Nigeria will flourish again if only we will join hands together to achieve the common goal of restoration; it starts with you and i. It starts in our immediate environment. Together we can make it happen if only we will keep the hope alive.
