In every chaos
There is always a misunderstood word
Word that generate different meaning
Based on individual understanding
Where wisdom and knowledge is fully utilized
Which led to having negative thought
And perceived a different view point of fowl play

Our world is tarring apart
The street is on regular rampage
Day by day people trying to survive
Sorrow after sorrow we share
What a sorrow we grief to bear
Pain piercing through the heart
Puting a lasting taste of fear

One of the fundamental element of peace
Is having clear understanding of one another
Despite of different race, colour and view point
And if there is a misunderstood word
Call for clarity for better understanding
Ensuring peace with one another

Youth and democracy

The youth of any nation is the strength and future of that particular society. They represent the hope to come and they carry in them the seed for the continuity of a giving society. Their brightness is in their strength and their passion is in their zeal. But like any component of the society their strength, their passion and potential can be wrongly misused by external influences. One of such area of negative external influence is in the genre of politics and election, which has render them powerless.

Their lives have being sharpened by what they have been told in time past. As a result of this we are still lucked in a cycle of failure and under development, we are still impoverished after decades of attaining independent from our colonial masters. They are nailing us with a slavery mentality after years of being free from slavery.

As youth in this nation we need to change our mind set about the future of this nation. There is a saying that "A persons life is sharpened by what he listen to over a period of time, whatever enters your ears, enters your mind, and whatever enters your mind enters your life."

As youths, who desire a change in the nation, we need to be on the offensive to break the status. We must be free from a wrong mind set that makes change impossible.

If our youth can say no to poverty and slavery mentality, there will be a dramatic turn around. The youth can enbrace democrazy and feel powerful to attain the level of good governance, which can make them enthrone the democratic order that work for the majority.

Nigeria will flourish again if only we will join hands together to achieve the common goal of restoration; it starts with you and i. It starts in our immediate environment. Together we can make it happen if only we will keep the hope alive and speak with one voice.

I SEE HOPE "THE NIGERIA DREAM"

To many Nigerians hope is not an option; they see a very blur future of this nation. This is simply because we are witnessing the worst epidemic of lawlessness the human race has ever experienced, as our cities have been taken over by incidences of strikes, rape, murder, riots, looting, arson, political crisis, examination mal-practices etc. internet crimes are also on the increase.

Considering all these factors, hope is definitely far fetched. It would be difficult to picture a changed nation and environment.

Contrarily, these factors not withstanding, there is a strong feeling of a second revolution that will guarantee a long lasting change in Nigeria as a whole. It is possible to live a life void of corruption in Nigeria. This can only be achieved by a renewed and changed of minds, which are willing to fight for peace, honesty and better life with their last breath. As youth in this nation we need to change our mind set about the future of this nation. There is a saying that "A persons life is sharpened by what he listen to over a period of time, whatever enters your ears, enters your mind, and whatever enters your mind enters your life."

This is the case with our fathers. Their lives have being sharpened by what they have been told in time past. As a result of this we are still lucked in a cycle of failure and under development, we are still impoverished after decades of attaining independent from our colonial masters. They are nailing us with a slavery mentality after years of being free from slavery.

As youths, who desire a change in the nation we need to be on the offensive to break the status. We must be free from a wrong mind set that makes change impossible.

I see a clean environment if only we will stop throwing ducts out of public transportation and private cars. I see a great nation, if only we will revisit our moral values and live by godly principles. I see an improved economical country if only mediocrity will loose its seed on us and give our selves to hard work and sharpen our skills. Every body is born with talent, develop it, do what you enjoy doing best with a sense of professionalism and exchange goods and services for money.

I see a standardized and authentic educational background if only we will say no to examination mal-practices and our political sector can experience a positive shift if we will say no to political rigging avoid leadership by coercion and negotiation and accept leadership based on Godly principles.

If our youth can say no to poverty and slavery mentality, i think there will be a dramatic turn around in this country.

Nigeria will flourish again if only we will join hands together to achieve the common goal of restoration; it starts with you and i. It starts in our immediate environment. Together we can make it happen if only we will keep the hope alive.

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF

1-1. Get care when you are ill.
When they are ill, even with communicable diseases, people often do not
isolate themselves or seek proper treatment. This, as you can easily
see, tends to put you at risk. Insist that when someone is ill that he
or she takes the proper precautions and gets proper care.

1-2. Keep your body clean.
People who do not bathe or wash their hands regularly can carry germs.
They put you at risk. You are well within your rights to insist that
people bathe regularly and wash their hands. It is inevitable that one
gets dirty working or exercising. Get them to clean up afterwards.

1-3. Preserve your teeth.
If one brushed one"s teeth after every meal, it has been said that one
would not suffer tooth decay. This, or chewing gum after each meal,
goes far toward defending others from oral diseases and bad breath.
Suggest to others that they preserve their teeth.

1-4. Eat properly.
People who do not eat properly are not of much help to you or
themselves. They tend to have a low energy level. They are sometimes
ill-tempered. They become ill more easily. It doesn"t require strange
diets to eat properly but it does require that one eats nourishing food
regularly.

1-5. Get rest.
Although many times in life one has to work beyond normal sleep
periods, a person"s general failure to get proper rest can make him or
her a burden to others. Tired people are not alert. They can make
mistakes. They have accidents. Just when you need them they can dump
the whole workload on one. They put others at risk. Insist that people
who do not get proper rest do so.

This is a way toward a much safer and happier life for you and others.

The Way to happiness

True joy and happiness are valuable. If one does not survive, no joy and no happiness are obtainable.

Trying to survive in a chaotic, dishonest and generally immoral society is difficult.

Any individual or group seeks to obtain from life what pleasure and freedom from pain that he/she or they can get.

Your own survival can be threatened by the bad actions of others around you. Your own happiness can be turned to tragedy and sorrow by the dishonesty and misconduct of others.

I am sure you can think of instances of this actually happening. Such wrongs reduce one's survival and impair one's happiness.

You are important to other people. You are listened to. You can influence others. The happiness or unhappiness of others you could name or not is important to you. Without too much trouble, you can help them survive and lead happier lives.

While no one can guarantee that anyone else can be happy, their chances of survival and happiness can be improved. And with theirs, yours will be.

Let live a responsible life to make planet a safer place for you and for me.

It is in your power to point the way to a less dangerous and happier life.
